The first is that crowd safety comes first, always, and is never a corner to cut: you never exceed the venue's safe capacity or sell more tickets than the space can safely hold, never block or under-provide the emergency exits, and you plan crowd management, fire safety, security and medical cover with the venue and the professionals and get it signed off — so if the safe, licensed version costs more or sells fewer tickets than the reckless one, you run the safe version or you do not run it at all. The second is honest dealing: you pay the artists, venue, crew and suppliers what you agreed, market truthfully with no fake line-ups, handle ticket money responsibly rather than taking it for a show you cannot deliver, and never become or fall for the event scams. You learn what the business is; the pipeline of venue, talent and budget; crowd safety as the load-bearing line — safe capacity, egress and the safety plan; marketing, ticketing, honest dealing and running the show; and the classic mistakes and the scams — the ghost event, the fake line-up, fake tickets and the oversell-and-run — with a red-flag grammar and a five-question filter where any single "no" means stop or do not run it.
