An 8-bar workshop compressor simply cannot blow a PET bottle. Third, the number that decides everything: the preform is 60–80% of a bottle’s cost, the per-bottle margin is a wafer (roughly ₦5–20 empty, ₦8–42 finished water), and profit comes from volume and utilisation, not price. You will size the line and the air system; choose products, neck finishes, preforms and moulds (the neck is fixed by the preform, so the cap must match exactly — a PCO 1881 cap will not fit an 1810 neck); learn the reheat craft where most defects are born (most are heat-and-timing, not pressure); run quality control and light-weight the bottle to the last safe gram; land and keep a bulk-supply contract; and walk a dated scam museum of sealed water plants and machine-import fraud.
