You climb a real income ladder — repair, first documented board, embedded/PCB freelance, local startup contract work, and only then productise — knowing local formal demand is thin and remote-heavy and hardware pay trails software’s remote multiplier. And you learn the bright lines: buy genuine ICs from authorised distributors (a fake chip can be bricked in the field), a prototype is not a certified product, and selling a real device can trigger NCC type approval, SONCAP or MANCAP — while the red flags of a parts-or-course scam are a demanded “supplier/permit” fee, payment to a personal account, and pricing far below a real distributor.
