You never cut any corner on child safety, for any reason. The second is honesty and genuine care, with qualified staff, operated legally: children are warmly cared for and their development genuinely supported by caring, appropriately qualified staff — not just contained — you make no false developmental promises and are open and truthful with parents including about incidents, and you operate registered, licensed and compliant. You learn what the business is; safe people, ratios and supervision; a safe environment and safeguarding; genuine care, honesty, legality and running it; and how to grow without multiplying the risks — with no fee, ratio or developmental figure invented. It closes with the classic mistakes and the scams — the unlicensed "cheap crèche," the guaranteed-genius pitch, fake credentials, the cover-up culture, and prepay-and-vanish centres — with a red-flag grammar and a filter.
